Jodi Rokuson is a Doctor of Audiology. Jodi is originally from Randolph, New Jersey and moved to Oradell in 2021 after living and working in New York City for several years. Jodi graduated with her Doctorate from Vanderbilt University in 2013 after completing a bachelor’s degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences from the University of Maryland. Jodi began working at Penta Hearing Care in Wayne in 2021. Jodi has been working in the hearing industry since graduating with her Au.D. and was drawn to the profession after helping her grandmother with hearing loss navigate the world of hearing healthcare.

What Jodi loves most about saving hearing lives is learning of a patient that has gone to a social gathering rather than staying home because he or she no longer fears not being able to hear others. In her everyday work with patients, Jodi strives to address the primary issues that face individuals with hearing loss daily, such as hearing speech in background noise and understanding the high-pitched voices of children.

Outside of saving hearing lives, Jodi enjoys hobbies such as running, reading, and playing with her young son.

My name is Maura Martinez and I have recently joined the Professional Hearing Center in our Hackensack location and at our NewSound Hearing Centers in Bloomfield, as a Patient Services Coordinator. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health and minored in Spanish at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.

Being that I have a son that has a hearing impairment all his life, it has been a great journey of caring, listening and learning together. I have also worked for almost 20 years helping those with disabilities by listening to their needs and finding the best solutions for every unique situation.

I really look forward in speaking with all of our patients in order to guide and embark them on their great journey of “Better Hearing & Living Better” as we have great Audiologists who are very proactive in educating our communities to gain a better understanding of how important it is to hearing better.

The greatest gift I have ever received is watching my son’s face light up with joy when he was given a pair of hearing aids as a baby and he heard his parents voice for the very first time. This is why I am honored to be part of this innovative institution where we are given the privilege to meet and forever change the lives of many families with “Better Hearing” and world-class customer service for a variety of services that we offer on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis!
